Spring will officially be here on March 20. Its time to look for the big trends for the Spring/Summer season. You should never empty your closet and buy a whole new wardrobe always pull the strong piece from the previous seasons and add them to your wardrobe. GRAMMY '09 CURVY GIRL HITS
Jordin Sparks looks absolutely phenomenal in her black and white print gown. Her hair, makeup, and accessories adds glam to her look.
I thought J. Hudson dress choice was just okay. She should of worn red or a plum color pump instead of the teal which blends into her dress. But it was a good try on her stylist end.
JENNIFER LOOKED GREAT
Jennifer looks great in her military inspired look for Super-bowl XLIII. I loved her gold bangles and matching earring. Her look was very simple and subtle yet it was to the point. The spandex look will definitely be around for another year so prepare to see it for a couple more seasons. This is Jennifer's first appearance since her family's tragedy.
TOCCARA'S GOT IT
Toccara looks absolutely fabulous; she looks simple yet flawless. I love her haircut and makeup. Ms. Jones has definitely recovered from her last fashion mishap. This look is perfect for a casual day; simple sexy white top, flare jeans, and suede red pumps.
SHOW STOPPER
The Queen looks fabulous in her shimmering silver off-the-shoulder dress. This dress is great for a curvy woman because it shows off one the sexiest parts of a woman; which is her shoulders all women should show them off. Verg Wang has perfected this particle detail in her garments.
Queen Latifah has on great accessories from her silver clutch to her strappy silver pumps. Her hair is great, out of her face to show off her dress,and her makeup which makes her look natural.
I love this look she looks great from head to toe. She's definitely a show stopper!!!
CURVY GIRL HOT MESS
I personally love Toccara but I have no idea why see would wear such an ugly outfit. Her makeup and her hair look just as bad. The cut of the dress doesn't fit Toccara's shape,there is no cleavage,no hint of sexiness. Her accessories are all wrong from the huge 2 finger ring and her off color heels. Toccara girl that "get up" is all wrong!!!
NERDY FASHION
I'm really confused about this Trend, I wear glasses only because I need to but I do buy trendy frames. I couldn't see myself just buying a pair of frames because it could be a possible trend. I just don't get it. By the way, I personally like Alicia but her sense of style is mediocre at its best. Her above look is not cool at all.
1. Alicia's jacket does not fit her shape. She should be wearing a jacket that is cinched at the waist.
2. Her bag blends in with her coat. She should have worn a brighter bag.
3. Her platform boots make her look like the Bride of Frankstein.
4. The glasses are a NO NO!!!
5. And NO NO to the top.
If I was her stylist this is how she would have looked.

Beyonce Can't Do No Wrong
Beyoncé can't do any wrong in my book. Her fashion sense is on point 99% of the time. She knows what looks good and how to accessorize from head to toe. I love the fact that she's daring and always willing to push the fashion envelope. You can't deny her fashion sense or her talent.
Must Have Shoes For The Fall
An outfit isn't an outfit unless your wearing a fabulous pair of shoes. Your shoes say how you feel about yourself and your garment. Shoes take your outfit up to another notch. Below are a few must have for the Fall.

I never thought that having my own site would be this difficult. I just don't want to post anything; I wanted it to be meaningful and helpful to my readers. So, if I lack in posts please forgive me.
Fall is here and you need a cute coat for the weather change. You need a coat that goes with your jeans and a basic dress. You need a coat that hugs you in the right place and makes to you totally fabulous.
Here are some tips :
1. Don't be afraid of color. Wear a color that looks good with you skin tone and makes you stand out from the other women in the crowd.
*2. Find a silhouette that fits your shape. Try on more than one coat. You will know when you find the right coat.
*3. Make sure the coat isn't tight in the arms and back. Try to sit white with the coat on and make sure that buttons aren't pulling. You want to be comfortable and stylish at the same time.

Curvy Girl No No
Jennifer Hudson style is hot and cold, sometimes she looks like a bombshell and other times she looks like she's been hit by a bomb. The above look is definitely all wrong. When you are a curvy woman you need to wear things that hug the body in the right places, this Tadashi dress just hangs on Jennifer. The side panels are very unflattering, the details make her appear wider. Love you Jennifer but this outfit is a MISS!
I have decided to leave The Trendsetter at Wordpress and begin a NEW chapter. I absolutely love the name The Trendsetter so I'm going to stay with it. This time around I'm going to focus mainly on plus size. I feel there aren't enough fashionable plus size sites. A lot of these companies just add crappy details and say it high fashion. Just because your curvy doesn't mean you have to wear whatever in on the rack we should be able to look just as fashionable as the next woman.
I will do my best to provide fashionable clothes for curvy women, what's in for the upcoming seasons, what accessories look the best, and how to look your best overall.
